CLEAN and Copenhagen Municipality are hosting a market dialogue about an innovative tender for developing a new innovative, state of the art plant for sorting and recycling of plastic in Denmark.
This project aims to develop innovation in the Danish recycling industry through a joint tender of plastic waste from Danish municipalities. The goal is to obtain higher recycling percentages and better quality of the recycled plastics than what is hap-pening today. The tendering process will happen later in 2016, either through a competitive procedure with negotiation or through a competitive dialogue procedure with bidding consortiums. No single company is able to create a viable solution; hence, consortiums with companies across disciplines must be formed. The winning consortium will receive the rights to the combined body of plastic waste from Danish households through a longer period.
The Market Dialogue
We are now making a call for companies within the fields of waste collection, sorting, recycling, technology-development, consulting and business innovation to attend our Market Dialogue. During the day, you will gain insight into the project and the process, hear inspiring presentations and get a chance to meet other businesses to collaborate with in innovative new consortiums.
