COP16 side-event

Clean and our sister cluster CTC Colombia are present at COP16 with some side events that you are welcome to join!

For the 16th time, the UN Conference of th Parties (COP) will focus on biodiversity. This time in Cali, Colombia, world leaders, businesses and scientists will gather to discuss and set the framework for the future.

Together with our sister cluster CTC Colombia, we have organized two side events for COP16, where you can meet and network with other institutions and researchers who are all working to innovate and strengthen biodiversity.

As soon as you register, our local team will contact you shortly with practical information regarding the pick-up times and shuttle services.

 

Study tour to CIAT – October 25th

The Alliance of Bioversity International and the International Center for Tropical Argiculture (CIAT) was created to address four challenges/crises in the food industry to create positive change. On the study tour we will visit Genebank “Future Seeds” and visit the Circular Economy Platform. In addition, we talk to local knowledge partners about cadmium in cocoa and soil.

The study trip is from 11.30 AM to 5.00 PM.

Study trip to Agrosavia – October 28th

Agosavia is a Colombian NGO agricultural knowledge organization that focuses on creating scientific knowledge and accelerating technology in agriculture. They strengthen Colombia’s development and food quality through research and knowledge dissemination. On the tour we will visit a process and quality laboratory and how to breed cattle.

The trip is from 7.00 AM to 1 PM.
