Attract engineers and developers

Are you struggling to find qualified candidates for your open engineering jobs? You are not alone. Let’s join forces in an upcoming talent attraction campaign.

The campaign will attract international engineers and tech specialists to Denmark and support your company in your search for experienced specialists.

By joining, you will boost your open positions globally, elevate your employer brand beyond Denmark, and attract top-tier international talent—all while saving time and resources by teaming up with other Danish companies to expand the pool of qualified engineers in Denmark.

The campaign targets engineers and IT specialists with +3-5 years of experience. Of experience in some of the following areas  (depending on your and other  participating companies’ needs): 

Engineers

  • Industrial ​
  • Mechanical​
  • Environmental
  • Chemical
  • Hydrology

IT/Tech specialists

  • Software engineer​s
  • Embedded Software engineers (C++)
  • Data scientist​s

The effort to attract international highly skilled professionals is part of the EU-funded project ‘Talent to a Green Denmark’. In this national initiative, 37 national partners work together to connect and attract international candidates who can help Danish companies accelerate the green transition.

How to participate

Time plan

The campaign runs from October 7 to December 2, 2024.

The signup deadline for participation is September 23, 2024.

Want to join? We’ll need this from you: 

  • Job openings (in English and within the scope of the campaign)
  • Content for your company profile: Logo, text, pictures, video etc.
  • Sign the collaboration agreement and the EU De Minimis declaration*
  • Official signup through the signup form

Terms

It’s FREE to participate in the campaign.

Prior to the campaign, an individual short online meeting is held with all participating companies to go through all practicalities regarding the campaign.

When the campaign ends in December, each company receives a company report and is invited to evaluate the process and results of the campaign.

All participating companies must sign a De Minimis declaration regarding state aid in order to participate in the campaign, as part of an EU-funded project.*

*De Minimis declaration: As our State-of-Denmark talent attraction campaigns are co-financed by the EU’s Social Fund, we must ask you to sign a De Minimis declaration, as the free service is considered a form of state aid by the Danish Business Authority (ERST). The value of the campaigns is estimated at DKK 26,000 by ERST. A company in Denmark can receive EU grants of up to EUR 300,000 (approx. 2.2 mil. DKK) over three years (current financial year + 2 years back– 2024, 2023, 2022).
