Water & Waste Technology Export Delegation to India

Date

15.–18. Oct 2024

Location

Mumbai

Closed for applications

On October 15-18, 2024, a 4-day business export delegation hosted by Clean and DI India will bring Danish companies working with Water & Waste technologies to Mumbai for the IFAT tradeshow (Officially open 16-18th October). The goal is to promote business opportunities – connecting companies with customers, suppliers, and distributors.

India is ready

IFAT is the world’s leading water & waste trade fair, and this year, its India edition will take place in the financial capital of Mumbai – the gateway to India. Since 2020 and the signing of the green strategic partnership between India and Denmark, the market has been steadily growing, with increasing opportunities for developing customers, distributors, and suppliers in the world’s most populous nation.

What to expect?

The program offers Danish water & environmental companies an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the Indian market, meet with other Nordic companies that have landed or intend to land in India, and engage potential collaborators.

Program elements

  • Dedicated stand space for a roll-up for your company at IFAT Mumbai (16-18th) as a part of the Danish corner of the Nordic pavilion.
  • ‘Soft landing spot on the Indian market session’ with DI India and select companies sharing their experience of successfully landing on the Indian market.
  • Nordic speed-dating session with other technology & service providers from Finland, Norway, and Sweden before the conference.
  • Networking events and receptions will be held at the IFAT stand, together with other Nordic consulates and DI’s new office in Mumbai.
  • Opportunity to engage with challenge owners and large corporates seeking technological innovations.

During this delegation, a handful of water and waste technology-related experts from universities and knowledge institutions will run a parallel program (Danish Hydrological Institute, Danish Technological University, Southern University of Denmark, Roskilde University, and Plastic Centre Denmark).

Price

The participation fee for the delegation is 13.500 DKK excl. VAT. The participation fee includes participation in the program, the physical stand space, attendance at the receptions and dinners at Nordic consulates, the preparatory soft landing spot on the Indian market, and the speed-dating preparation session. The participation fee does not cover flights or hotels.

This activity is co-funded by the European Union and the Danish Board of Business Development.
