CSP Live at the C40 World Mayors Summit

During the 7th edition of the C40 World Mayors Summit, the City Solutions Platform will organise the “City Solutions Platform Live”. The event will take place the 9th of October at BLOXHUB. For this event, we invite companies to co-create solutions to address city challenges (Copenhagen and Helsinki), and to network with green transition innovators.

Kick-off 2 new CSP city challenges

Two parallel city workshops will be organised during CSP Live @BLOXHUB, to demonstrate how facilitated public-private collaboration is developing strong partnerships to co-create and implement innovative, impactful & scalable solutions to the priority climate challenges that cities are facing.

Copenhagen challenge

The City of Copenhagen’s challenge is to improve food procurement processes to procure food from small, local, organic and sustainable producers, to reach the city’s target of reducing CO2 emissions from public food, such as school meals, by 25% by 2025, and to support a sustainable regional food system.

Helsinki challenge

The City of Helsinki, carbon neutral by 2035, will be participating with their challenge on replacing the city’s heating from coal with as much carbon-neutrality and as little biomass as possible, preparing for the city’s international energy innovation competition, due for official launch in late Autumn 2019.
