Ambient Carbon ApS

Ambient Carbon’s MEPS (Methane Eradication Photochemical System) eradicates low-concentration methane from point sources such as cow barns, pig barns, and slurry tanks; mineshafts; oil and gas production; biofuel production; water treatment plants; and landfills.

Invented at the University of Copenhagen, the patent-pending technology uses a gas-phase photochemical process to eradicate methane in a reaction chamber. The system uses a minimal amount of electricity, and has little or no effect on the environment, as one of the main resulting chemicals is recycled in the process.
